IPSY UNBOXING-JULY AND AUGUST

This for sure is one super exciting post to write about.Ever since i saw youtube gurus started doing these subscription boxes i have always wanted one too but these subscriptions are exclusive to US and i live in PAKISTAN,well now this is no issue at all.You can pretty much get anything your heart desires,thanks to all these amazing facebook pages.I got my first ever ipsy box and EEEEEEE can you tell i am super excited.

Ipsy is a $10 subscription service that sends you 4-5 deluxe samples,(sometimes you get full size product too) according to the quiz you take on their website,housed in a super cute pouch (which btw is totally re useable) every month,so i jumped into the bandwagon and subscribe to it through AMOR

i am gonna keep my ipsy unboxing short and sweet in the future since i’ll just be sharing what i got that month and my first impression regarding the product and see if it was a hit or a miss.Enough with the explaining and lets hop on and see what we have inside our  ipsy bags.

1)BARE MINERALS 5 IN 1 BB ADVANCED PERFORMANCE CREAM SHADOW:Gosh it’s a mouthful.It comes in a cute deluxe size sample,upon swatching i realize little does go a long way however the color seems abit mudy to me,not found of the shade at all will have to use it and see if i can work with it or not,the product is long lasting and budge proof.

POP BEAUTY SUN KISSED BRONZER IN SECRET SUNSHINE

2)POP BEAUTY SUN KISSED BRONZER IN SECRET SUNSHINE:It’s a full size product.I have never used any pop beauty product so whenever i swatched it first i was really impressed by the quality,the product is super creamy and pigmented and gives a beautiful sheen.the bronzer is not too orange which is always a plus in my book.

3)PIXI TINTED BRILLIANCE BALM IN PRETTY PINK:Super cute deluxe size lip tint perfect to keep in your bag for touch ups through out the day.The shade is really pretty and gives you a sheer wash of color.

HANGTEN TANNING OIL

4) HANGTEN DARK TANNING OIL:Well we all know us asians are not to keen about tanning,so for me this is a Mehhh product.Not gonna be using it for sure.

The theme for august ipsy was BEAUTY SCHOOLED.Now i gotta be honest with you guys i hateee the pouch it comes in,is it just me or does this pouch looks like a pencil case,oh well lets see what we have inside.

1)URBAN DECAY PERVERSION MASCARA:A good deluxe size sample of perversion mascara.I love trying out deluxe size products.You can try out more stuff this way and get a full size of whatever you like the best.

2)LORD & BERRY MINI KAJAL KOHL-LINER:Super creamy kohl pencil,it’s not the blackest black of them all but it glide on your water line,i gotta try and see how well it holds up or does it smudges through out the day or not.

3)ABSOLUTE NEW YORK YOU’RE THE BALM IN GREEN APPLE:I am usually not a fan of lip balms that comes in a pot,the whole dipping your finger is wayy too unsanitary,the smell is nothing like green apple so i am not too impressed with it.

4) COASTAL SCENTS FOREVER BLUSH SAMPLE:Can you guys believe i have never used any coastal scents product,this will be my first.I like how it has two shade,one is a matte peachy shade and other one is a shimmery pinky one,the pigmentation of the peachy shade is ok but the pink shade is super creamy and pigmented,this would be perfect to keep in my bag for touch ups.

DR. BRANDT PORES NO MORE

5)DR BRANDT PORES NO MORE:It comes in a decent deluxe size sample,i am always comparing primers to my holy grail primer benefit porefessional to see if anything comes close to it,this looks promising.I love the fact that it’s sealed so we know for a fact that it has not been tampered with.Can you tell i am a neat freak :p Right when i saw the product it looked wayy to much like porefesional and what do you know it works the same way, absolutely lovee it.

So all in all i am quite happy with my JULY & AUGUST GLAM BAGS .. there were more hits then misses according to me ..the only two product that i was not super excited about are the lip balm and tanning oil,rest i love
